How it began...
From time to time I reminisce about the days at grandpa's farm watching grandmother baking all sorts of goodies. I remember myself as a child standing beside the clay oven impatiently waiting for the bread and the empanadas to be ready, the smell of firewood burning and the unique scent of fresh baking bread and empanadas still sparks in my senses.

How it began...
Empanadas (meat pies) have been part of the Spanish culture since the 12th century.
Empanadas were a delicatessen served to kings and the privileged. They were introduced in the Americas by the Spaniards conquers. The recipes have been passed from generation to generation. Making quality empanadas requires strictly selected ingredients, time and experience.
